Overview

The Apollo Training classes are based on Apollo's outstanding technical support department, and on the serious commitment Apollo support engineers have towards providing top technical support to Apollo customers.

Several training classes are available to choose from. Each class provides various levels of instruction typically lasting one day, with the exception of the Accelerated Schedule class, which lasts two days. Multiple classes may be taken successively. Trainees receive an Apollo Developer Certificate upon completing the training.

The Apollo Partner Program provides discounts on Apollo Training classes including onsite and regularly scheduled classes. Developers will be trained by expert staff certified in various development technologies, including Borland Delphi Certification.

Authorized Apollo Training Centers

Vista Software has negotiated with several prominent training centers around the country to provide Apollo Training. We will be listing the Authorized Apollo Training Centers here in the near future. Program A (1 Day)

Introductory/Intermediate Database Programming class using Apollo VCL and/or Apollo OLE DB.

Program B (1 Day)

Advanced Database Programming with Apollo VCL and/or Apollo OLE DB.

Program C (1 Day)

Client/server Programming with Apollo VCL and/or Apollo OLE DB and Apollo Database Server

• Deploying, registering and configuring the Apollo Server
• Server deployment considerations
• Performance issues
• Building Apollo client applications that connect to the Apollo server

Program D (1 Day)

Advanced Client/Server Programming with Apollo VCL and Apollo Database Server (1 day)

• Working with SQL
• Security issues
• Migrating existing Apollo applications to client/server
• performance tuning
• Designing client/server versions of your software
