César Vega

Senior Software Engineer

César Vega is one of Vista Software's Senior Software Engineers. Cesar has been programming since 1987, starting with Clipper S'87, C, Pascal and has moved over the years to Visual Basic and Delphi. Mr. Vega has worked for the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM - www.itesm.mx) since 1988, writing applications for specific departmental needs, using both Clipper and Delphi. ITESM is the largest and most prestigious private university in Mexico, with more than 80,000 students and 18,000 employees nation wide.

Mr. Vega is currently also involved in the development and implementation of a large "Activity-Based Costing System" developed using Oracle, Apollo and Delphi. He also has his own company "Sistemax" (www.sistemax.com) which is focused primarily on developing Accounting, Invoice and Inventory systems for small to medium-sized companies -- using Apollo as the main database engine.

Mr. Vega lives in Monterrey, the leading industrial city in Mexico. When taking a break from programming, Cesar likes to play chess, which, as he says, refreshes his mind and keeps him sharp.
