Reset Vista Newsgroups

Users need to reset your Vista Software news reader account in your news reader as follows:

Steps to reset your news reader

1. Open your news reader (e.g. Outlook Express, XP News Reader, etc.)
2. Select the Vista Software news group (news.vistasoftware.com) and unsubscribe from all of the groups.
3. From the menu, select: Tools -> Options -> Maintenance. Press the "Clean Up Now" button and then press the "Compact" button.
4. Press the Close button and re-run your News Reader.
5. Select the Vista Software news group (news.vistasoftware.com) and re-subscribe to the available group.

The news groups should now be available again and you should be able to read and post new messages.
