Web server issues

Our web server blew a gasket after we applied SP4 on Sunday, July 13th and it has been down ever since. We just now have been able to get our web site up, but email and newsgroups are still not working. The shopping cart should not be used either, until email is working.

We are working around the clock to get this resolved. The original web server's drive is in tact and we are now working on restoring the files as needed.

For those that want to know about SP4 -- it actually seems like a good update. It was applied along with a Critical Patch, but that caused the web server IIS console to not be displayed. So rather than waste time, SP4 was uninstalled (without uninstalling the Critcal Patch hotfix first) and thats what caused the problem.
