Apollo shows off at BorCon 2000 in San Diego

July 15th, 2000

Apollo was once again a big hit at this year's Borland Developers Conference in San Diego, CA - home of Vista Software. Apollo SQL™ and Apollo Database Server™ 5.14 both made successful debuts in front of hundreds of attendees. The latest version of Apollo SQL™, featuring several much-anticipated performance optimizations was demonstrated to a very receptive audience attending the Vista Software vendor session.

"It's clear that conference attendees have really taken notice of our recent marketing efforts," said Loren Scott, President and CEO of Vista Software. "We had a large number of visitors come to the Apollo booth and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with each of them. It's a wonderful feeling to have strangers thank you for building a great product."

As was the case with last month's TechEd, developers from all around the world visited the Apollo booth and were impressed with all Apollo database products. The free "Apollo Kicks Ass" T-Shirts given away were once again a huge hit with attendees!

We invite you to visit the "Dr. Bob" web site for conference details at http://www.drbob42.com. Overall, this years Borland Developers Conference was a terrific success. We would like to thank everyone that visited the Apollo booth.
